What's the difference between a lease and an exclusive?

A lease lets multiple artists use the same beat under specific limits. An exclusive means you own it outright — the beat gets removed from our store and no other artist can use it.

Can I put a leased beat on Spotify and Apple Music?

Yes. All three lease tiers allow distribution on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music.

What happens if someone else buys the exclusive on a beat I already leased?

Your existing lease remains valid. We honor all active leases before removing a beat from the store.

Can I use the beat for a music video?

Yes. The MP3 Lease includes one monetized music video. The WAV Lease includes more video rights. The Unlimited Lease covers unlimited videos.

Can I use the beat on radio?

Yes — all lease tiers include radio broadcast rights.

Can I perform the beat live?

Yes. All lease tiers allow live performances including paid shows, concerts, and festivals.

Do I need to credit 27CLUB?

Yes — credit must appear as "Produced by 27CLUB" on all physical and digital releases, cover art, liner notes, and music videos.

Can I register the song with DistroKid, TuneCore, or YouTube Content ID?

No. You are expressly prohibited from registering the beat or your song with any Content ID system. 27CLUB has already tagged our beats for Content ID protection.

Can I sample or resell the beat?

No. You cannot sublicense any portion of the beat as a sample, and you cannot sell or distribute the beat as delivered.

Are refunds available?

No. All license fees are one-time, non-refundable payments per the terms of your agreement.
